This allows you to see the gears inside the watch as it works. The golden set of gears move while the rest of the assembly move quite slowly, imperceptibly slow to the naked eye. Throughout the gear assembly are silver colored accent engravings that add to the appeal. To the left of the golden gear assembly is a daylight counter, which shows you an approximation of how much daylight (or nighttime) is left, and indicates am and pm. The main hour and minute hand are pinned in the center, while below is a secondary hour and minute hand to display a second time zone. On the bottom of the watch is another panel to see through, making this truly open-heart design. The automatic winding unit housed at the bottom spins (by moving the watch), you can see different parts of the internal housing. At the top of the watch is the crown, which is turned to wind the movement; or pulled up to set the time and secondary time. The crown and main pin on the other side of the band have deep blue accent paint on them. The clasp is a double Deploying clasp that opens on both sides.
