Gold Filled

Vintage Girard-Perregaux rectangular mechanical wristwatch featuring a cream-colored dial, Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and a black leather strap. The case is marked 10K Gold Filled. This is a gold-filled case, not solid gold. Condition: The watch shows substantial age-related wear, including dial patina and discoloration, scratches and surface wear to the case, and wear to the gold-filled finish around the edges and lugs. The leather strap also shows wear and may be a later replacement. The small-seconds hand is not clearly visible and may be missing. Operation: * The watch winds and is currently running, but accuracy and power reserve have not been professionally tested.
