Longines Wittnauer 32mm Pilot's Chronograph 2 Register Vintage 1940s WWII Era In preowned condition, originally from a watchmakers collection we have a beautiful Longines Wittnauer Pilot's two register chronograph. The watch is fully functional with original dial and crystal. Runs, winds and chronograph operates as intended (video shows running chronograph second hand). Venus 150 movement. Case measures 32mm not including crown. Looks to have been serviced previously, watchmakers scratches on the inside of the caseback read ( 112429 ), not sure when the servicing occurred. Comes on a brown leather Speidel leather strap. Does not come with box, just the watch included. Selling as is, please see photos for any details. *** PLEASE NOTE! Rare OLMA "SUPER" Pilots WWII 1940's Military Swiss Mens Wrist Watch 17j Diameter of the case: 33 mmThickness: 10 mm The factory was born in the 1900s and still exists today after a long crossing of the desert in the 1970s and 1980s. The brand was created by Paul Jeannin Bourquin. He had started his business under the name of his son Numa Jeannin SA, in Fleurier (Switzerland). The Olma brand was registered on January 22, 1926 and marketed pocket watches typical of the time. In 1942, Olma and Numa were joined to form Numa Jeannin Olma SA. Also the brand has introduced interesting innovations in the field of sealing. Many models are proudly adorned with the mention “waterproof”. The Caravelle range, whose bottom is distinguished by an engraved vessel, illustrates its nautical vocation well on models intended for navigators and divers, like this model with a “compressor” type housing, with its internal rotating bezel.
