The caliber 370 movement in particular was marketed as the “Curvametric” in Gruen’s own advertising,  even though the dial itself just says “Curvex” and “Precision.” Only four specific movements ever qualified as true Curvex-grade Gruens, and this is one of them. This watch is a rare True Gruen Curvametric Precision 1950 manual wristwatch with a gold case and red leather strap. This vintage watch features a rectangular shape with Arabic numerals on the dial, 17 jewels in the movement, and a two-piece strap closure. The watch has a right-handed design, a mechanical manual movement, and a polished gold filled case.
